When the plant trips, recovery drifts, or the power bill is too high.
We provide cryogenic plant advisory for reliability and operations managers who run air separation units (ASU) and the other cryogenic plants above. We review operating data, investigate performance losses, and give your team written findings and recommendations; your team implements them through the plant's procedures. Air separation is the specialty. Both of us on the work, no queue.

Both of us, no queue
We work every engagement together — nobody gets handed off.Targets in plant data
The target is written in your plant data before anything changes.Tuned with Protuner
Loop analysis on Protuner, from Techmation Inc., on the control system you already have.Built from the operator’s seat

Cryogenic and industrial gas processes we support.
Process by process
What we look for in your plant data.
This is written for the reliability manager or operations manager who answers for a cold box, a liquefier, or a fleet of small plants. The questions change with the process. The evidence comes from the same places: your historian, your logs, and your shift.
Air separation and nitrogen liquefaction
Specific power creeping up between turnarounds. Argon recovery lost after every upset. Mol-sieve cycles set at commissioning and never revisited. Columns that will not settle after a rate change or on turndown. We review the main air compressor, booster air compressor, front-end purification, columns, and argon section together, and measure specific power against your own best sustained window. Nitrogen liquefaction is reviewed on its own operating basis, not as a side stream.
Industrial gas, on-site plants and electronics gases
Sister plants of the same design running different numbers. Backup liquid used more often than the plan assumed. On-site plants running for weeks with nobody technical looking at the trends, and remote monitoring alarms acknowledged rather than investigated. For electronics supply, trace analyzer trends at the ppb level and analyzers that disagree with each other. We compare plants inside your own fleet, group trips by mechanism, and state the comparison basis and its limits.
LNG, hydrogen, helium, CO2 and RNG
Different molecules, the same unclosed ledger. Boil-off and flash losses at storage, transfer, and truck loading that nobody has balanced. Liquefier trips on feed swings the upstream plant considers normal. A helium recovery loop with no agreed number for what it captures. Refrigeration capacity that fades as ambient rises. Freeze-out and plugging in the cold section. We close the balance where the meters allow, and say where they do not.
Chemicals and refining
A cold section inside a larger facility that no one on site owns technically. Hydrogen or light-ends recovery drifting as the feed slate moves. Exchanger approach temperatures spot-checked rather than trended across the run. Turnaround scope decided from the last cycle’s list. We trend recovery and exchanger approach against feed composition, and put the cold-end evidence in front of the people setting the turnaround scope.
Every review ends in written findings tied to the trend or log they came from. Your team carries any change through the plant’s own management of change.
